Design for Good
What keeps me creatively and personally fulfilled is doing work for nonprofits and organizations that are doing incredible work in the communities I live in. Here are a few of the projects I’ve done for nonprofits that are important to me.
While I am a proponent for the legalization of marijuana, as a person of color, I recognize the deep and inequitable legal and personal ramifications of using marijuana, especially in college where conviction can lead to loss of financial aid and possibly expulsion. The Omaha Collegiate Consortium works with universities across Omaha to educate and empower students with critical knowledge on substance use so they can make informed decisions. These posters were posted in university hall, campus health clinics, housing, and more.
